Dont let looks fool you. The outside is not the best looking but the customer service, the taste of the food, and the time in which we got our food was AMAZINGLY AMAZING. Must try the salmon patties with grits. The chicken tenders hands down, best I've ever tasted.

Finally made it over to Ruth's! Very good. From the outside, you could be walking into a local treasure or a future regret. It's very much a local treasure. The food tastes awesome, the service is attentive, adaptable, and quick. Lived up the local fame easily.

Words can not describe the homleyness this place exudes infact I had to make up a word just to express that fact. Try the fried catfish when you go and don't forget to sample the home made tartar sauce! (DO NOT TRY THE CORN BREAD THOUGH(it's dry enough to soak up an Olympic swimming pool(it's the only thing bad on their menu though)))

Ruth's has been my go to breakfast spot in the Augusta area for many years. But this morning's visit was one of the best. The service was fast and friendly as always, but this time I tried something that I believe is fairly new on the menu. It's their Irish Country breakfast with Corned Beef Hash and eggs on top of English Muffins that is the covered with a peppery white gravy. It comes with home fries on the side. It was really tasty. My son got his usual Ruth's Big Breakfast with blueberry pancakes which he always enjoys. Thanks Ruth's for another good breakfast experience!

Honestly, my family loves this place. The menu has a decent selection. The service was incredibly slow. But I admit, for a small restaurant, it was pretty darn busy. Almost full in fact. So obviously my family is not the only one that loves it. I chose a hamburger and asked for only lettuce, tomato and mayo. I got it but it had a strong onion flavor as if it had been on the burger and then removed after. But everyone else loved their food. And mine was good. Just didn't like the flavor of the onion. So I would probably go again. Staff was friendly.

Amazing little seat yourself type diner. My husband and I went at 9:30 am on a Tuesday and it wasn't busy at all. Food came out in about 5 minutes and its was hot and fresh. We had the 2 eggs combo with chicken fried steak with white gravy and biscuits. Awesome meal, atmosphere, and staff. We will definitely be visiting again :)

If your looking for alternatives to Sunrise Grill, IHOP/B, or Waffle House this is the place! The food is amazing especially their hash. Breakfast is served all day and their staff is very friendly and available when you need them. Patrons vary from an older crowd to kids skipping high school. LOL Definitely worth trying once.

I have eaten here for many years. It has always been good till over the last year. I went last week and had breakfast. The food has no taste. It was such a let down. I will be finding another breakfast restaurant to go to. They need the cook back from the previous owners. They knew how to put the quality and taste to it !!

Ruths Family Restaurant is like going to Bingo night at the VFW, Yes the patrons are a bit seasoned/mature/salty. The place has a great feeling of community. Sure the floor has patterns of wear in it them from all the years of patronage, but so do 5 year underwear, and you still wear them for the comfort and the memories. The place is pure diner gold. The waitresses show true southern hospitality and are not afraid to to tell you about the town gossip. The biscuits were soft, gold, and well baked. The hashbowns were crispy on the outside and perfect in the center. In a city where restaurants struggle to be authentic, Ruths is as real as it gets, like a shotgun wedding with matching tattoo rings. I highly recommend this place for breakfast and brunch

Ruth cheeseburger is one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. Service was great, prices are cheap. Definitely recommend if you like a diner atmosphere with amazing food

Good food. Don't expect a fancy dining area. I recommend Western omelette, veggie omelette, salmon patties, pork Patty, pork links, and bacon.

I went here awhile back and I was pretty impressed. It is a small place with plenty of tables inside and a friendly staff. It is apparently quite popular with celebrities such as Bill Murray. I wanted to try the breakfast being my first time there, so I got the most unique dish I saw. Pete's Trash Omelet, although filled with everything you can put into an omelet there, tasted good. Especially with the topping of corned beef hash. The biscuit and hashbrowns I got on the side were nothing to write home about, but they were good too. The food was extremely cheap and you get a lot. If I'm in town and want a diner breakfast, I know where to go.

The owner is rude and was dressed like she just woke up out of bed. Started screaming at a lady that came in about how she was just trying to survive because no one was coming there due to pandemic.. Didnt even give lady a chance to speck. I seen that lady before and i know she was going to ask to do event there to help foster kids which would of brought more people to her establishment.. The owner is not a good one
